That’s correct, Lynne. Conventions, courses and anything pertaining to your “business.” Even SCUBA lessons if your book needs some expertise in that.
As far as internet access, typically the best way to handle that is to determine the percentage of time you use your internet for business and pleasure. If you use it 90% of the time for work, then you can deduct that portion of your bill for each month.
